Stephanie Williford / EB Medicine
Stephanie is the CEO of EB Medicine, a world leader in evidence-based continuous education resources for physicians. She has pioneered numerous innovations in and is the chief strategic planner for the company. Stephanie graduated summa cum laude from Georgia State University with a degree in Business Management. She is a very positive leader who demonstrates a high level of strategic planning and analytical thinking. She encourages her team to utilize new tools and resources and to further their knowledge and education. Dorothy Whisenhunt / EB Medicine
Dorothy Whisenhunt holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Georgia, and held a variety of technical editing and writing positions, including technical editor of flight operations manuals at the Johnson Space Center and technical writer at a banking software company. While working on her Master’s degree in Information Design and Communication at Southern Polytechnic State University, she was Communications Manager at Georgia Leadership Institute for School Improvement, a public/private institute. To move into the field of medical editing, Dorothy took specialized courses in anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, and earned a certificate in medical editing through the American Medical Writers Association.
At EB Medicine, Dorothy has edited and managed all of the company’s publications through editorial processes including contracting, writing, editing, and finalizing content for print, focusing on quality, practical relevance, and usability. She works with the physician Editors-in-Chief to refine the mission and vision of the journals and promote their status as the premier review journals for emergency physicians, helping the company achieve Medline indexing for Emergency Medicine Practice in 2011 and Pediatric Emergency Medicine Practice in 2013.
