Brooks Robinson is the Co-founder and CEO of Springbot. Founded in 2012, Springbot delivers an eCommerce marketing platform to help online business grow their revenue by leveraging advanced revenue attribution and marketing automation technologies.

From 2000 through 2011, Brooks was a co-founder of Cbeyond and held various leadership positions including: President of Cbeyond’s Cloud Services division and Chief Marketing Officer leading Cbeyond’s sales & marketing team.

Prior to joining Cbeyond, Brooks worked with Cambridge Strategic Management Group, a venture capital and strategy consulting firm in Boston; Deloitte Consulting in Toronto; and held various engineering positions at Nortel in Ottawa.

Brooks is a member of the Entrepreneurs Organization and serves on the advisory board of Kate’s Club. In 2011, Brooks was named one of Georgia’s “Top 40 Under 40” by Georgia Trend magazine.

He holds a bachelor of applied science degree in electrical engineering and management science from the University of Waterloo (Canada) and the University of Queensland (Australia).

Brooks lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife Jeannette. He enjoys playing ice hockey, golfing and cheering for his favorite team – the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Joe Reger, Jr. / Springbot, Inc.

Joe Reger is the Co-founder and CTO of Springbot. Founded in 2012, Springbot delivers an eCommerce marketing platform to help online business grow their revenue by leveraging advanced

revenue attribution and marketing automation technologies.

Prior to co-founding Springbot, Joe was the founder of dNeero – a social networking toolset that connects influential people with brands and charities. He also founded DataBlogging and served as the Director of Development for Brightlane.com

A graduate of Georgia Tech, Joe is Springbot’s resident office technology junkie. His passion is helping eCommerce stores grow, one data-driven marketing action at a time while still making time to jump out of the occasional plane.

Joe lives in Marietta, Georgia with his wife Heather and three children. He enjoys running and cycling.

Sandro Murtas and Adrienne Sipe of Synovus Bank

Sandro Murtas / Synovus Bank

Sandro Murtas is the Global Trade Specialist for Synovus Bank. He assists commercial lenders with the 28 banks in Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, South Carolina and Florida in export lending through SBA and Ex Im Bank export products.

Before working with Synovus Bank, he was the Regional Manager of the Export Solutions Group for the Office of International Trade of the U.S. Small Business Administration in the Atlanta US Export Assistance Center covering Georgia, Alabama, Kentucky and Western/Central Tennnessee. Previously he covered Mississippi, Arkansas and Louisiana from the New Orleans USEAC. He is a Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) by the North America International Trade Educators (NASBITE) and a Certified International Credit Professional by the Finance, Credit International Business Association (FCIB).

Previously, he was the Director of the International Trade Center of the Puerto Rico Small Business & Technology Development Center. He has successfully assisted companies in securing export financing and in expanding internationally.

In addition, he chaired the International Trade Committee of the Puerto Rico Manufactures Association, a 1,200 member organization, from 2003 to 2011. As part of his leadership, he developed a trade program that took local and multinational companies to business trips to the Dominican Republic, Curacao, St. Kitts, St. Maarten, Trinidad & Tobago, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, US Virgin Islands,  and Panama generating new and  increased exports for participating companies.

He has participated in many conferences and seminars as a speaker in the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, Barbados, and Italy. He has published in journals, newspapers and magazines. He is a graduate of Wichita State University where he received an Economics and International Business undergraduate degree and an MA in Business Economics.

Adrienne Sipe / Synovus Bank

Adrienne Sipe has been in SBA lending for more than 20 years.  Her career started as an SBA underwriter in Pensacola, FL, after graduating with a degree in Finance from the University of West Florida.  She moved to the Atlanta area in 1998 to continue her SBA career and eventually obtained her MBA from Kennesaw State University.  After wearing all hats in the SBA world, she founded SBA Solutions, a consultancy providing specialized SBA capabilities to community banks and early-stage lenders that required in-house levels of SBA support. SBA Solutions’ services included origination, underwriting, processing and closing assistance, as well as guidance to banks on starting an SBA department and the policies and procedures needed to make it successful.  Adrienne also led training workshops for bankers on everything they needed to know about SBA lending.

Adrienne served on the Georgia Lender’s Quality Circle Board of Directors for four years, including as Chairman of the Board. In 2006, she started Meridian Financial as a correspondent lender for SBA loans and investor properties.  In 2012, she joined Bank of North Georgia, a division of Synovus, as SBA Product Specialist, and in 2014 was asked to lead Synovus’ SBA business across the company’s five-state footprint.  Synovus’ loan volume increased 40 percent in the first year of her leadership and another 61 percent in 2015.

Kit Hughes / Look-Listen

Kit Hughes is a typical technology entrepreneur. He dropped out of college to start a company in 1999, spent a period of time homeless, and slowly and painfully became an overnight success.

Eventually, Kit returned to school as a two-time research fellow at the University of Georgia, creating a mobile application to virtually graffiti a building using a PocketPC (before the iPhone existed), and he studied strategy and innovation at MIT.

Over his career, Kit has helped brand digital and traditional experiences for national and international brands: Coca-Cola, Char-Broil, GE, NCR, Philips, Steve Harvey, and Synchrony Financial.

Kit is currently CEO at Look Listen, a digital agency he co-founded with his childhood friend and punk band collaborator, Paul Sternberg.

Began his career working with brands like TrueValue, Discovery, Flexcar (now Zipcar), and higher education institutions like NYU, CalTech, and the University of Southern California. Branden Lisi is one of the founders of Object 9 and, in addition to overseeing the rebirth of the Georgia Grown program for the Department of Agriculture, has led more than 400 client engagements centered around revitalizing underperforming brands. His firm is probably most famous (in marketing circles) for their work bringing back Pabst Blue Ribbon from the dead, but now he focuses on a much broader range of products ranging from the farm to the fork.

Jack Spruill / Georgia Grown

Jack Spruill is the director of the marketing division for the Georgia Department of Agriculture.  He came to the department after working in marketing for an international manufacturer and distributor of dairy equipment.  He had years of experience in production agriculture.
